IS OWG’S ANSWER TO OUR CLIENT’S NEED TO
KEEP CURRENT ACCURATE, AND RELIABLE DATA.
This service was developed for our clients that
require an ongoing relationship with their data. Some
information, like the manufacturer name and purchase
date, do not change over time. However, other data,
like replacement cost, market value and location may
change. CheckPoint is designed to keep those asset characteristics
that can change over time, as current as possible, without
the need for a physical re-inventory and the costs associated
with a site visit.
Clients
inform OWG of any additions / deletions / change in
location of their assets via an e-mail form provided
by us. The asset records are brought up to date at least
annually and any adjustments to the accounting records
are automatically updated. |
INSURABLE
VALUE / REPLACEMENT SERVICES
We also provide insurance related valuation updates utilizing
trend analysis for replacement cost/ insurable value for
risk management purposes. |
RE-INVENTORY
SERVICES
If a client subscribes to checkpoint, OWG’s annual
update service, or a reasonable amount of time has elapsed
since our last physical inventory (usually 3-5 years
or less), our re-inventory service can save
your organization up to 25% off the cost of your next
physical asset inventory.
The
great part of this service is the original inventory
does not necessarily have to have been done by OWG.
If you can provide us with an electronic record of your
existing inventory and that data meets some quality
control criteria, OWG can perform an inventory at significantly
reduced cost. We base this savings on the synergy of
being able to assimilate an existing asset record into
our system.
